With National Signing Day set to kickoff tomorrow, the SDSU Aztecs are looking to have a big day. The Aztecs need to regroup after a loss in the Poinsetta Bowl to BYU. National Signing Day could be fresh start they need.

With only two signees under their belt so far, SDSU is hoping to give Dominique Bierria and Lenicio Noble some company.

Bierria, the 6’5″ 215 pound tight end, had offers on the table from Cincinnati and Wyoming but ultimately decided to choose San Diego State. He’s a 2-star JUCO transfer set to make an impact for the Aztec offense.

Noble, also a two-star JUCO transfer, is a 6’3″ 285 pound offensive guard. He committed to the Aztecs back in July.

The Aztecs have an additional twenty-one commits that have yet to sign but will most likely do so on National Signing Day. Leading the charge for this class is wide receiver Julius Wilson. Wilson is a three-star recruit out of Culver City, California. He’s listed as the number 64 reciever and the number 56 player in the state according to Rivals.com. At 6’1″ 175, he will need to get a bit bigger. His 40 time was a 4.4. Wilson is the highest ranked commit for SDSU since 2011.

SDSU so far has nine three-star recruits and fourteen two-star recruits, including the duo that’s signed already.

National Signing Day begins tomorrow, Wednesday February 6th.
