Richard Marshall: Good Addition or Another Mistake?

Today the San Diego Chargers signed Richard Marshall to a one year contract.

The 5-11, 198-pound cornerback has 451 tackles over his seven year career.  He also has 57 passes defensed, 18 interceptions and seven sacks.

While the Chargers need help in the secondary I am still concerned do to Marshall missing most of last season with a back injury.

What do you think?  Good addition or another mistake?

I like the move since we lack depth. The timing is bad since he has missed most of the off-season team activities but hopefully he is up to speed by week 1.

When healthy he is a solid CB.

Football is a risky biz. Just look at the case of Dx… We put him out there on free agency and signed him when no one else took the risk. I here what your saying about another risky move, but that is what free agency and waivers are all about! In TT I trust! #BoltUP

I think so too. I’m ready for the injuries to stop!
