The Bolts have filled seven of the eight spots on the practice squad.  Four of the members were signed today. Here is some info on the four new kids.

Jake Byrne, TE  – The 6-4, 258-pound tight end out of Wisconsin appeared in four games and made one start this preseason with the Houston Texans. He finished the exhibition season with two catches for 19 yards. With this kids size I hope he gets the opportunity to show us what he’s got.

Toney Clemons, WR – A 6-2,210-pound wideout, Clemons appeared in four games last season for the Jacksonville Jaguars, recording three catches for 41 yards.  This preseason he appeared in three games and made two receptions for 13 yards.

Will Pericak, DE – The 6-3, 300-pound defensive end out of Colorado signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent in May.  He appeared in three games for them this preseason, registering one tackle.

Kenny Wiggins, T – A 6-6, 314-pounder out of Fresno State, the tackle appeared in all four games for the San Francisco 49ers this preseason.

The four players join tackle Nick Becton, cornerback Marcus Cromartie and linebacker Thomas Keiser on the practice squad.

One open spot on the eight-man roster still remains.
