AFC Offensive Player of the Week to Philip Rivers!

The San Diego Chargers Philip Rivers had a great game at the Eagles.  Of course, we all believe that as Chargers fans, but the stats caught the eye of the NFL.  Rivers completed 36 of 47 passes for 419 yards and three touchdowns.  Add in the fact he had no interceptions and you get a passer rating of 124.3.

The defensive recipient for the AFC is Bills defensive end Mario Williams.  The NFC nods went to the Packers Aaron Rogers and Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman.

A great way to start of the season and give Rivers the confidence he needs to keep it going.  Congrats Philip!
