Shareece Wright still not practicing…

Chargers CB Shareece Wright missed his second consecutive practice this week with a hamstring injury. Wright did not play last week at Tennessee and is in danger of missing  a second straight game.

If wright is unable to play, Johnny Patrick who started for Wright last week, will be thrust into the starting lineup again. It’s no secret that the secondary of The Chargers is a HUGE concern. Last week Jake Locker and his wide receivers torched The Chargers all afternoon. This week Tony Romo and Dez Bryant are coming to town and the game plan will be no different for the Dallas duo.

Despite the youth and injuries that have plagued The Chargers defense, the secondary must improve. If Wright can’t go come Sunday, Patrick and fellow corner back Derek Cox will have to be dominant in order for The Chargers to get a win.

Jake i’m torn on this issue. Wright really didn’t look to good, and now Patrick is not an upgrade. The issue i’m torn on is player VS DC. My two cents, either the Chargers have some good players, that are not in the the best scheme to fit their skills sets. Or, Chargers don’t have the personnel (depth) as many have suggested, to run this defense, and Pagano has be covering for them and limiting the damage offenses, should be doing to them. Or, not having Manti an Taylor in the line-up is really hurting the options on what the Chargers want to do.
So until i see what this defense looks like with all it’s starters i don’t think Wright or Patrick will make a difference.

We need Manti’, and Taylor to get their collective asses on the field. And we could really use a boost from English, and Freeney in the get to the quarterback department. If our front and outside would be more dominate, the secondary would naturally do a better job. I don’t think Pags is good enough to keep us this close in games just by what he has been calling. We have some personnel, now lets get them fired up and in the right damn places at the right damn times. Come on now. We really need to beat those Cow pokes. Bolt Up!

Good, Shareece is terrible and comes from a garbage school. Andrew Luck put a lick on this scrub. Draft a corner!
