Chargers sign UDFA RB Miquel Maysonet to Practice Squad

The front office of The Chargers has been busy today. With the signings of Free Agent Wide Reciver Lavelle Hawkins and Linebacker Thomas Keiser from the practice squad. the moves continues as The Chargers announced that the team has signed Undrafted Free Agent Running Back Miquel Maysonet to the practice squad.

Maysonet has already made three stops on three different teams in 2013. After being signed first by the Philadelphia Eagles, he was later waived and claimed by The Cleveland Browns where he remained until August 30th. He was later signed to The Indianapolis Colts practice squad on September 16th after RB Vick Ballard went down with a season ending injury.

At 5’10, 210 pounds Maysonet produced 4,725 yards and 48 touchdowns during his college career at Stony Brook. He was also a two-time Big South conference player of the year. NFL.com gave Maysonet a player comparison to Alfred Morris when he was coming out for 2013 draft.
