Hunter Renfroe headlines this group as when the Padres took him 13th overall in the first round of the MLB draft last season the Padres hoped he would develop into the power bat the Padres desperately and so far he’s lived up to his potential. Hunter Renfroe entered the season as the Padres #5 prospect down on the farm and has been the best hitter in Single-A so far this season. Hunter Renfroe leads all of the California League in home runs and has doubled his home run total from last season with 15 home runs for the Storm this season. With the way Hunter Renfroe is performing he may be prompted soon to Double-A San Antonio and maybe even Triple-A El Paso before the end of the season.
