  • According to Michael Gehlken of UT-San Diego, Liuget suffered a concussion during Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Green, Johnson and Verrett did not play Sunday against the Jaguars. Green was active for the game, but did not get on the field.

Verrett suffered a hamstring injury at the end of the game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3. Verrett was held out of practice last week. Since Verrett was able to at least have limited participation in practice, hopefully he will be able to play Sunday.

Cornerback Shareece Wright (knee), center Rich Ohrnberger (back), outside linebacker Jerry Attaochu (hamstring), outside linebacker Reggie Walker (ankle), wide receiver Malcom Floyd (illness), linebacker Manti Te’o (foot) and running back Ryan Mathews (knee) did not participate in practice.

Wright injured his right knee Sunday during an accidental collision with safety Jahleel Addae in the second quarter against the Jaguars.

Wright has been the San Diego Chargers starting left cornerback the past two seasons and has been a key contributor on the Chargers defense this season. Shareece Wright has been one of the Chargers top tacklers this season and had five solid open field tackles against the Jaguars today before he was injured.

Versatile defensive-back Richard Marshall filled in for Wright during Sundays game and may be asked to fill in again of Jason Verrett cannnot play against the Jets this weekend.
