Jason Michael has been brought back as the Chargers’ tight ends coach. Going into his third season on San Diego’s coaching staff, Michael is looking to add to the success that the position has had with Antonio Gates and branch out to the other players on the roster. The other tight ends that he’ll be coaching are veteran Randy McMichael, Dante Rossario and second-year man Ladarious Green.

Ollie Wilson is also coming back as the Chargers’ running back coach. He will look to make Ryan Matthews an elite back in the league while he looks to bring the Chargers’ running game back to prominence.

Rick Lyle is a newcomer on the Chargers’ coaching staff. After spending four seasons with the Browns, he’ll now join the coaching staff as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. Lyle has been coaching since 2006, when he got his start as an assistant strength and conditioning and nutrition coordinator for the New York Jets.
