Before you get started that this is not the first football game of the season, let’s just take a few minutes to break down the Hall of Fame game.  Boring.  It is always boring.  Too few people and too much time spent interviewing the inductees on the sideline.  I love to see the guys getting their props, but this is not an exciting game.

Tonight will not be boring.  The Seattle Seahawks have flown into San Diego to face the Chargers in a special Thursday nite preseason game.  The game kicks off at 7pm and it is going to be loud.  For the first time since I can remember it is sold out.  That’s right, my friends, no blackout if you are not attending.  Here is the info for fans who cannot attend.  Dan Fouts and Billy Ray Smith will be commentating.

Chargers broadcast:
KFMB 8 (CBS – San Diego)
KCBS 2 (CBS – Los Angeles)
KTVQ 2 (CBS – Bakersfield)
KKFX 11 (FOX – Santa Barbara)
KGPE 47 (CBS – Fresno)
KLAS 8 (CBS – Las Vegas)
KSWT 13 (CBS – Yuma AZ)
KGMB 9 (CBS – Honolulu)

This will be the first time we will see our new rookies in action and a chance to see how they are meshing with Philip Rivers and the rest of the team in a real game environment.  Time to see if the new O-line will hold and see if the King is really who we think he is. Finally, football is here!
