Two days from game day and the San Diego Chargers still have some key players on the injury report.
Donald Butler – ILB – Was suffering from a groin strain, but he had full participation in Wednesday and Thursday practice, look for him to be on the field Sunday
Jeromy Clary – G – Still not practicing due to clavicle. I’m actually thinking the line is better without him, so don’t hurry up with the healing buddy.
King Dunlap – T – Out with a concussion. These should not be rushed, so we may not see him for a couple weeks.
Malcolm Floyd – WR – Still not practicing due to his neck/spine. I’m starting to think he is going to retire and I would not blame him
D.J. Fluker – T – Fluker practiced both Wednesday and Thursday so we should be looking for him on Sunday.
Dwight Freeney – OLB – Missed some practice, but according to the Chargers it was not injury related. Bad taco’s perhaps? While he was limited in practice on Wednesday he was back to full practice on Thursday. So, no worries here.
Nick Hardwick – C – Limited practice on Wednesday due to a bruised shin, he was back at it Thursday. Look for him to be back over the ball on Sunday.
Chad Rinehart – G – He has a case of turf toe and is not practicing.
Manti Te’o – ILB – Looks like his bruised foot is all better since he was at full speed both days. We will finally get to see him in action this Sunday! Go get em Manti!
Shareece Wright – CB – Looks like that hamstring is going to keep him out for a bit. We will let you know when he starts practicing again.
