Fozzy Whittaker claimed off waivers by the Browns

On Saturday, The Chargers released Fozzy Whittaker to make way for OT Nick Becton. The move was made for depth purposes due to the injuries along the offensive line for Sundays game against the Cowboys.
On Saturday, i wrote that i would NOT be surprised if another scooped him up off the waiver wire….Sure enough this afternoon, The Cleveland Browns claimed Whittaker. It was probably hope a hope that The Chargers could bring him back on the 53 man roster, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case.
Chargers waived RB/KR Fozzy Whittaker Saturday. He has been claimed by the Browns today, per source.

I wish Whittaker all the luck in the world in the future. He played hard and EARNED his spot on the roster
