Another week and another player that goes to IR for The Chargers.
This time the injury bug attacked the depth of the team as today The Chargers placed Mike Harris on season ending injured reserve with an ankle injury.
This seems like such a common occurrence with The Chargers this year, the team’s injury/IR list is a relative “who’s who” as far as players go.
As most people would say “next man up” but as it relates to The Chargers its more like “who is left?”
With Harris going on IR and Starting left tackle King Dunlap still questionable for return due to concussion like symptoms, The Chargers may have to start an unfamiliar face to protect Philip Rivers.
That unfamiliar face could come in the form of undrafted rookie Nick Becton. If Becton gets the start, he will have to deal with Robert Mathis who currently post and NFL league high in sacks (9.5)
To add additional depth to the roster, the team signed OT Mike Remmers off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers practice squad.
Philip Rivers could be in for a long night on Primetime Monday against The Colts.
