Hold on, wait a minute, just a sec, whoa there, excuse me, seriously?  I think the word I’m looking for here is WTF?  Well, that’s three words, but you get my point.  Leave it to the Chargers to manage not selling out a nationally televised Monday Night Football game.

With more than 9,000 seats remaining to be filled by Friday (or Saturday if an extension is granted) a blackout is very likely.  Since the game is on ESPN that means that the 35 mile radius rule will be in effect.  So, orange county and LA will be able to watch the game, but San Diegans not at the game will not be able to view it.

This would be the first Monday Night Football game to be blackout out since 2000.  Not classy San Diego.

We will let you know when the blackout is officially announced.
