Another week, another Thursday injury report. These reports just keep getting harder and harder to post. It seems as though the Bolts have been doomed with injury bad luck. Could the 5-0 Saints have put some sort of voo doo on the teams they wanted to make sure would be easy opponents? Or could the 5-0 Broncos have found a creative way to pump their newly legal substance into our locker room?
I am not sure of the cause, but this years injuries seem to me to be the worst and deepest that I can ever remember. At the top of this weeks list is Ryan Mathews and he is the one of the people that we just cant be without right now.
Ryan Mathews – RB – Has not practiced due to a concussion. I think I will wait to see how this weekend looks before I call it. But I’m guessing bench.
Jeromey Clary – G,T – Finally back to full practice, so it looks like the guys on the terribly battered line will be getting some fresh meat in there.
King Dunlap – T – More good news, Dunlap had full practice today. This is the first time since his concussion, so it looks like will be joining Clary back on the line.
DJ Fluker – T – Hurt his calf pretty bad putting a big hit on a Raider Sunday night. Fluker did not practice today, but McCoy is not saying he’s out yet.
Jaret Johnson – OLB – Oh man, he was really making great plays and now he is not practicing due to a hamstring injury. Deep breath.
Richard Marshall – CB – Another groin injury? These guys need to learn how to stretch! Marshall was on limited practice today, so he should be back by Monday.
Johnny Patrick and Chad Rinehart, also on the O-line, also did not practice today. I am seriously ready for our guys to keep it together and be healthy. Winning a lot would be nice too.
