Ryan Mathews exits locker room wearing protective boot

Christopher Hanewinckel-USA TODAY SportsSan Diego,CA- San Diego Chargers Running-Back Ryan Mathews exited the locker room after todays 26-13 win over the Raiders wearing a protective boot on his left foot.
Mathews left todays game in the 4th quarter with a left ankle/foot injury. Matthews re-entered the game later on in the 4th quarter and appeared to be fine the rest of the game.
That assumption was wrong though as Mathews declined to talk to the media after the game with his left foot in a walking boot and according to The Mighty 1090’s Marty Caswell Mathews left the locker room with the Chargers team doctor and didn’t look happy at all.
Matthews had another solid game for the Chargers rushing for 99-yards and a touchdown. Matthews now has 1,111 rushing yards on the season, a new career high.
If Matthews who has been a vitale part of the Chargers offense this season is severely injured it will really hinder the Chargers chances of defeating the Chiefs next week.
