No. 24 USD Toreros split doubleheader and defeat No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys 10-5

San Diego, CA- No. 24 University of San Diego Toreros split the doubleheader and defeat No. 12 Oklahoma State Cowboys 10-5.

The Toreros snap their three-game losing streak and improve to (9-4) on the season.

The Toreros once again scored the games first runs, scoring four runs in the top of the first inning on a RBI triple by Louie Lechich, an RBI single by Andrew Daniel and a Ben Wylly RBI single to give the Toreros a 4-0 lead.

The Cowboys would get on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fourth inning, scoring three runs to cut the Toreros lead to 4-3.

The Toreros would extend their lead to 6-3 in the top of the fifth on a Andrew Daniel sacrifice fly and an RBI groundout by Mercado-Hood to give the Toreros a 6-3 lead.

The Toreros would put the game away in the top of the ninth scoring four runs on a RBI double by Bailey, RBI single by Joe, RBI single by Mercado-Hood, as the Toreros defeat the Cowboys 10-6.
