Padres-Indians game rained out

San Diego, CA- The San Diego Padres series opener Monday night against the Cleveland Indians has been postponed due to rain. The game will be played Wednesday as part of a doubleheader.

Tyson Ross will still make his scheduled start tomorrow and today’s starter Robbie Erlin will pitch the second game of the double header Wednesday.

Eric Stults will start the first game Wednesday scheduled for 9:05 a.m. PT.

The last time that a Padres game was rained out was against the Chicago Cubs on April 19, 2011. The last time the team played a doubleheader was against the Cubs on April 20, 2011.
