  • Jones is viewed as a 3-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals and 247Sports. ESPN ranks Jones as the 51st best 2015 power forward and 247sports.com ranks Jones as the 43rd best power forward in the nation. Don’t be suprised if you see Jones upgraded to a four-star recruit before the years over, as his excellent play over the summer lead to more offers and recognition by Pac-12, ACC and Big 12 schools.

Here are a few Scouting Reports on Brodricks Jones:

"Thin big man is developing as a shot blocker/rebounder and runs the floor incredibly well. He shows flashes on offense but is still more potential than production at this stage in his development.  -Eric Bossi of Rivals.comBrodricks Jones had a breakout July. Versatile PF that can play inside and out and is peaking at right time. Fits well into SDSU system. -Josh Gershon West Coast Recruiting Analyst for Scout.comBrodricks Jones is a great long term investment for Steve Fischer & San Diego State. He is raw but with development will have a good career. -Alex Kline of The Recruit Scoop on Rivals.com"

The Aztecs now have two scholarships available for this class and are also in the running for 4 star recruit Stephen Thompson Jr. and Ernest Aflakpui.
