San Diego, CA- Well last night was a night to forget for Chargers fans as the Seattle Seahawks stomped the San Diego Chargers 41-14. With the loss the Chargers fall to (1-1) in the preseason.

More from San Diego Chargers

The Seahawks showed why they were the Super Bowl champs on the opening drive as Russel Wilson and Robert Turbin ran all over the Chargers defense and capped off a nine-play, 74-yard drive with a Robert Turbin 1yd TD Run to give the Seahawks a 7-0 lead.

Philip Rivers and the Chargers starting offense moved the ball past mid-field, until an incomplete pass on a 3rd-and-3 ended the drive. That would be the only drive of the game for Rivers and most of the Chargers starting offense.

Turbin continued to run over the Chargers defense on their second drive, but this time the Chargers held the Seahawks out of the end-zone and made them settle for a Hauschka 38-yard field goal to increase the Seahawks lead to 10-0.

Kellen Clemens would enter the game for Rivers to end the first quarter.

Surprisingly the Seahawks kept Quarterback Russell Wilson and the rest of their starting offense on the field for most of the second quarter and torched the Chargers backup defense for back to back touchdown runs by Russell Wilson to extend the Seahawks lead to 24-0.
