The entire Padres fan base is furious over this announcement and if you haven’t yet make sure to sign the petition to stop the naming of Hall of Fame Plaza at Petco Park to Selig Hall of Fame Plaza.
Since the announcement Mike Dee and the Padres have tried to explain their reasoning for the naming of Selig Hall of Fame Plaza. Dee’s embarrassing and condescending response to the Padres fan base over the outrage, has infuriated the fan base even more and now the outrage has gained national attention.
