More from San Diego Padres

Jesse Hahn improved to (5-2) on the season, allowing only one run on three hits with six strikeouts in six innings of work. Hahn has already pitched 72 innings between the minor and major leagues this season and the Padres have set his innings limit at 110. So expect to see Jesse Hahn for only a few more starts after the all-star break. Jesse Hahn has been one of the few highlights from the Padres dreadful season and his performance have given the Padres another pitching cornerstone to build with going forward.

The Dodgers scored the games first run in the bottom of the 1st on an RBI single by Matt Kemp to score Yasiel Puig and give the Dodgers a 1-0 lead.

The San Diego Padres would take the lead in the bottom of the second, on a two-run home run by Alexi Amarista off Dan Haren to give the Padres a 2-1 lead.
