Ladarius Green is coming off his best game of the season for the Chargers with 4 catches for 64 yards last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Ladarius Green was expected to have a bigger role in the Chargers offense this season, but with Antonio Gates continuing to play at an all-pro level, Ladarius Green will remain in the back-up role.
The San Diego Chargers will be without cornerback Jason Verrett and linebacker Jerry Attoachu as they are among the San Diego Chargers inactives for today’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Also inactive are running back Ryan Mathews, linebacker Manti Te’o, linebacker Reggie Walker, center Rich Ohrnberger and tight-end David Johnson.
Jason Verrett suffered a hamstring injury at the end of the game last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. Verrett has been held out of practice all-week. With Jason Verrett inactive expect Brandon Flowers to start the game at right-cornerback for the Chargers alongside Shareece Wright. Expect Steve Williams or Richard Marshall to start at nickle-back for Verrett. You could also see strong-safety Marcus Gilchrist at nickle-back with Jahleel Addae back starting at strong-safety alongside Eric Weddle.

The Chargers will start their third different center today against the Jacksonville Jaguars, as veteran offensive-lineman Doug Legursky will start at center for the Chargers. The Chargers signed Doug Legursky earlier this month to improve their offensive line depth, after placing center Nick Hardwick on season-ending injured reserve with another neck injury.
As for good news Chargers fans wide-receiver Keenan Allen (groin), cornerback Brandon Flowers (hip), Antonio Gates (hamstring), strong-safety Marcus Gilchrist (shoulder) and defensive end Corey Liuget (ankle) are active for today’s game.
