San Diego, CA- San Diego Chargers lead the Jacksonville Jaguars 17-14 at the half.

Jacksonville won the toss and chose to receive to begin the game.
The Chargers defense would make their presence felt to begin the game as Toby Gerhart was stripped by Jarret Johnson and the fumble was recovered by Donald Butler at the Jaguars 30.
The Chargers were unable to take advantage of the turnover, as their injured offensive line allowed Philip Rivers to be sacked multiple times to force the Chargers to punt.
The Chargers would stuff the Jaguars on 4th and one on their next drive to take over at midfield. Rivers would drive the ball to the Jacksonville 15, but was unable to score and had to settle for a Nick Novak 33-yard field goal to give the Chargers a 3-0 lead to end the 1st quarter.

Blake Bortles and the Jaguars would drive the ball into Chargers territory to end the 1st quarter and opened the second quarter with a 1 yard touchdown run by running back Toby Gerhart to give the Jaguars a 7-3 lead.
The Chargers would regain the lead on their next drive as Philip Rivers connected with Eddie Royal for a 47-yard touchdown to give the Chargers back the lead 10-7.
Blake Bortles would continue to move the ball on the Chargers injured secondary and found wide receiver Allen Hurns for a gain of 44-yards due to blown coverage by Eric Weddle. Bortles would connect with Nic Jacobs for the 2 yard touchdown to give the Jaguars back the lead 14-10.
Yet the Chargers would take advantage of poor defense by the Jaguars to end the half, as Philip Rivers found Eddie Royal for his 2nd touchdown of the game to regain the lead 17-14 at the half.
