Chargers Injury report: Jason Verrett limited in practice, but is likely to start on Sunday

According to Michael Gehlken of UT-San Diego,Jason Verrett was moving well in individual drills during today’s practice.

Verrett suffered a hamstring injury at the end of the game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 3. Verrett was unable to play during last Sundays game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, after being held out of practice last week. Verrett should be expected to start this weekend against the New York Jets, especially withShareece Wrightexpected to miss some time with his sprained MCL.

    Wright injured his right knee Sunday during an accidental collision with safetyJahleel Addaein the second quarter against the Jaguars.

    Wright has been the San Diego Chargers starting left cornerback the past two seasons and has been a key contributor on the Chargers defense this season. Shareece Wright has been one of the Chargers top tacklers this season and had five solid open field tackles against the Jaguars today before he was injured.
